NEW DELHI: Union Minister D Purandeswari on Saturday appeared to be not ruling herself out of the race for Andhra Pradesh Chief Ministership.
Purandeshwari, daughter of the late N T Ramarao, the first non-Congress Chief Minister of the state, merely remarked "everything depends on the high command" when asked whether she was in the race."The high command is competent enough to take a decision," she said initially when asked about who could be the next chief minister.Purandeswari's remarks were significant as they came amid the stepped up campaign by supporters of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy for making him the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh to take the place of his father.

Jagan camp claims support of 148 MLAs

The post-YSR succession story might have got complicated with the dead chief minister's loyalists likely to shift their campaign for installing his son Jagan Mohan Reddy to Delhi and the party high command not keen to be hustled into taking what will be a crucial political call. Perhaps with the objective of allowing emotions to subside, the party high command has taken the position that it will deal with the succession issue only after the mourning period ends even as it keenly assesses the situation in the state. The momentum to make Jagan the CM has not ebbed so far, and Congress is keeping a wary eye on developments. By swiftly swearing-in veteran K Rosaiah, the leadership has certainly bought itself some time and going by the look of things, the 77-year-old leader could have to hold fort for a while till the Congress leadership sorts out the claims in the state in the wake of a large power vacuum caused by the death of YSR.

Summary
This is an unmatured product from the factory of "Dil" Raju and Akkineni family. A thin story line, lack of clarity and poor direction have taken away the "josh" from the movie. The debut launch of "Naga Chaitanya" may disappoint Nagarjuna fans and will put lot of pressure on Nagarjuna to come up with another flick to prove Naga Chatanya.
The quality of the movie is far away from previous movies made by Venkateswara creations. One way the movie can be seen as message oriented subject but fails to deliver the intended message.
Story
Hero "Sathya" concentrates on enjoyment while studying degree in a college. He was a good student in school days but gets into enjoyment mode after joining college and spoils his life. He thinks enjoyment means roaming, bikes, smoking and pubs. But his college principal observes the capability of Sathya and tries to advise him when ever he gets a chance. But Sathya never listens to him. The college principal role is played by Prakash Raj.
Sathya realizes the value of life after a tragic incident in his life and decides to discontinue studies and he moves to Hyderabad to do some job.
But he encounters students gangs studying in MGM college, Hyderabad and decides to get into college life again to bring some change in the students who are getting into trouble by a politician JD Annayya. JD Annayya role is played by JD Chakravarthy.
The story ends with some high drama scenes where students realize what they are losing and teach a lesson to JD Annayya.
Performance
The acting of Naga Chaitanya is not upto the expectations and there is a lot to improve. Heroine Karthika (her name is Vidya in the movie) played a teacher role. She is fond of going to college but her brother did not allow her to go to college because of safety. The romantic scenes between hero and heroine are better. Naga Chaitanya acted better in emotional scenes.
Karthika has lot of energy like her mother and she has good expressions also. She is very tall and has better chances to shine in Telugu and Tamil movies. Her dances are OK.
The screen play and direction are very weak and Naga Chaitanya paid price for acting in a movie made by a new director. Lack of experience of the director clearly observed in the first half of the movie.
Few songs are good but songs may not add much value to the movie. Rain fight is good. The mind game or psychological game shown in "Dhee" movie also the main point taken for the narration of this movie. Comedy is not that good. Not many hilarious scenes are there in the movie. Back ground music is not so good.

Nayanatara confirms relationship with Prabhu Deva

Pawan Kalyan to get into Comedy Genre soon

Power star Pawan Kalyan who is busy shooting for his upcoming movie “Komuram Puli” is going to enter comedy genre of films. As soon as he completes his ongoing project “K-Puli” the actor is said to jump onto another one which will be produced by ganesh, who is a comedian as well as producer in tollywood.
Soon, after this project, pawan is said to have signed another movie with director Surrender reddy of KICK fame. The movie is said to be a hilarious comedy entertainer and still the story work is said to be going on. According to sources, Pawan will be seen in a mass role and will entertain the crowds with a language of mass touch. Reports even add up that a Hindi actress will be seen in this film as a female lead as the character of the female lead in this film will be that of a Delhi girl who knows very little Telugu. The movie’s name is likely titled as “Mr. Perfect”
Pawan’s “K-Puli” is scheduled for a September release, while his other two films are scheduled for 2010 summer releases.

Shamili to opposite Jr .NTR in Gona Ganna Reddy

Shamili, who made her recent debut as a full fledged actress in the movie “ Oye” is all set to feature as a female lead in the movie which is titled as “ Gona Gana Reddy”. The movie is penned and will be directed by noted director Gunashekar.

Kangana too much exposing in Ek Niranjan

Kangana Ranaut who is making her tollywood debut with the movie “Ek Niranjan” is going to expose too much for the film. Allu Arjun's next film, directed by Gunasekhar and produced by DVV Danayya of Universal Media, finally seems to have found a suitable title. The film is called Varudu. The title had been registered by Nallamalupu Bujji and was transferred to DVV Danayya on request.A new face will be launched opposite Allu Arjun in this project, while Tamil actor Arya plays the villain. 100 real life families will also feature in the film. Recently, Madalasa Sharma was doing a song sequence in which she was wearing an asymmetrical dress which was showing her bottom covered by her pink panty. The dance director was demanding 4 -5 retakes and finally the actress done the dance steps according to his desire.
When the shot was perfect, the actress was said to change her dress and was in her way to her dressing room. The whole scene was being watched by a visitor who was a friend of a unit member. The two were standing in the path of the actress and when she passed them, one of the naughty guys pressed her bottom and the other one pinched on her panty. The actress shouted a bit and her makeup man along with her helper rushed towards her.
