Director Puri Jagannadh created sensational box-office records with his movie Pokiri in the past. Now he is again coming out with another sensational film with a whopping 100 crore budget. He readied a wonderful story for this movie, which was originally intended for making a flick in Hollywood. He is on the look out for the producer to make this movie. Currently he is directing Ek Niranjan with Prabhas as hero and he also the producer of Bumper Offer in which his brother Sairam Shankar is the hero.

A popular Tamil daily has listed the names of heroines gluing brothel color. After the arrest of Bhuwaneshwari things have become worse in Tamil film industry especially. The lady has been revealing various names in Police Interrogation who are involved in prostitution. Although the names of those heroines have been in air, no media source took initiative to publish them except a Tamil daily. Now Sarath Kumar, the actor, has stated that the News Daily has to face tough time ahead from Movie Artistes Association for publishing damaging news. South Indian Artists’ Association has now decided to file defamatory case against the News Daily as the news troubled many families of artistes.

Adurs And Rummy In Annapurna Studios

The shooting of Adurs is going on in Annapurna Studios. Mahesh Manjrekar, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sayaji Shinde participated in the shoot today. The film is yet to be titled but the word Adurs has been circulated by the media.

On the other hand Brahmanandam dressed as a 'Koya' (tribal) was seen relaxing on the sets of Rummy. A song featuring Mamta Mohandas and Nagarjuna is on. The film is being directed by debutante Kiran, has music by Sandeep Chowta and cinematography by Sarwesh Murari

Nitin, Hansika come together

Teenage sensation Hansika Motwani is pairing up with Nitin in director Eshwar Reddy's ongoing Telugu flick Sitaramula Kalyanam, which is currently progressing at brisk pace in Hyderabad. Said to be a romantic entertainer, the film has already completed its first schedule.Nitin, desperately in need of a superhit, hopes Sitaramula Kalyanam would hit the jackpot. Congress MLA Malla Vijaya Prakash is producing this film under the banner of Welfare Creations. Anoop Rubens is the music director. Brahmanandam, Ali, M.S. Narayana, and Jayaprakash Reddy are also in the cast.Meanwhile, Hansika is all set to debut in Tamil opposite Dhanush with the remake of super star Rajinikanth’s romantic comedy Mappilai, directed by Rajashekhar with Amla (Nagarjuna's wife) and Sri Vidya as the heroines. The remake will be directed by Suraj, maker of Dhanush's superhit Polladhavan. Hansika came to public notice after her famous Bournvita ad, followed by Telugu films Deshamudra and Kantri and a few Hindi films.

Chiranjeevi identified mistake in “Magadheera”

Blockbuster of the year, ever seen record breaking movie on Telugu screen “Magadheera” has become the talk of the town from nearly 100 days. But Rajamouli, the director of the movie has openly said that “I love only those kind of movie viewers who watch the movie and find out the flaws in the movie, but not those people who just go gaga over the wonders created by the movie”.In this sense, Rajamouli loved Chiranjeevi for his looking of the movie at its minute level. Megastar on the premiere show has identified the flaw in the movie and conveyed it to Rajamouli. Can anybody guess what’s the mistake that you see in mega film “Magadheera”?It is the scene in which Sher Khan (Srihari) views the Udaygarh fort through the binocular lens. At first shot, he sees the entire fort upside down and that was the mistake done by the Graphic department and Chiru identified it.

Manoj Bajpai in Vedam

Director Krish has given us one really thought provoking movie with his debut venture ‘Gamyam’. He is now busy with his next film and this one is titled Vedam. The film has five lead characters. The buzz is that the intense actor from Bollywood Manoj Bajpai would also be playing one of the lead roles. Vedam is produced by Devineni Prasad and Shobu Yarlagadda.
The music for the film is by M M Keeravani and the camera work is by Gnanasekhar. The shooting has been going on briskly without making noise and this also has Allu Arjun as a guy from the slums, Manchu Manoj as a rock star and also the awesome beauty Anushka who is said to be seen in a rather unforgettable role.

Rana, son of producer D Suresh Babu and grand son of veteran producer D Rama Naidu, is making his debut on screen with the film titled “Leader”. This film is being produced by AVM Studios. This film is being directed by Sekhar Kammula who had been famous for films like “Godavari” and “Happy Days”.The shooting of the film is completed and the post production works are in progress. The producers and the director are tight-lipped about the theme or plot or story of the film, but sources say that “Leader” is an action packed love story and the romance of the hero makes him into a leader to win the heroine. “Leader” is scheduled to release on December 24.

Media has given too much importance to Trivikram Srinivas, the director who has been delaying Mahesh Babu's film for so long. Just not a copy master of English films, he is even known for not executing it properly. The inefficient director owes Mahesh Babu 15 crores. That is in the span of two years he could have made 15 crores easily on two films.Trivikram took 195 working days for Athadu, 155 for Jalsa. For Athadu he exposed 2 lakhs 70 thousand feet reel. For Jalsa, the film came upto four and a half hours, finally the length was cut to 2:45 minutes. For this current film produced by Singanamala Ramesh, the fight sequence which usually takes four days went upto 20 days. On the screen this comes to four minutes. His extra-marital affair took away his mind and time from the film.Singanamala Ramesh is being termed as the most immature and inexperienced producer too having landed himself in many legal wrangles. Mahesh Babu is not growing 'young', he needs to think and act fast!
