Turning to glamour in Telugu, Vimala raised a few eyebrows when she sported a bikini in Lover Boy paired with Tarun. “In a full-fledged glamour role, the bikini part was in the script. I see the movie as a seachange from my Tamil films. I cannot complain of lack of variety,” says Vimala.

The lithe girl said Sandalwood doors are opening for her after the impact of Aptharaksha in a suspense-filled character. “When the director is P. Vasu, the impact is much faster,” Vimala said, with a twinkle in her eyes.
