Allu Aravind who delivered the biggest hit of 2008, Ghajini, is apparently planning his second Hindi project already. This time he wants to remake his own Telugu blockbuster Magadheera for which he plans to rope in none other than Hrithik Roshan.A little birdie tells me that the filmmaker is planning to approach Roshan and ask him to portray the role played by Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja in the Telugu original. Now, Allu Aravind's Magadheera happens to be the costliest Telugu movie ever made with a budget of over Rs 40 crores. Being the first high budget film to be made in the Telugu film industry, Magadheera was released in almost 1200 screens across 14 countries on July 31, 2009.And that's not all. The movie had collected a sum of Rs 22 crores during its first week run and had a total collection of Rs 60 crores. Will the film do as well in its Hindi version? Will Hrithik be able to pull off an Aamir? Well we can only wait and watch!

Neil's Nudescene to go Blurred?

Posted by SRINU GUNTURU | | Posted On at 10:53 AM

Madhur has decided to pixilate the hyped Neil Mukesh nude scene in Jail to avoid getting in trouble with the censors. After Madhur Bhandarkar faced flak from the censors for certain provocative scenes in Fashion, he has now decided to pixilate the much talked about Neil Nitin MukeshÂ’s nude scene in his forthcoming film Jail.Madhur took this decision at the edit table last week. One of MadhurÂ’s close aides said, "Madhur and his team felt that the scene was too blasphemous and its presence in the film would definitely land the film an A certificate. This time, he doesnÂ’t want that."Madhur was furious when the censor board had given an A to his last film, Fashion. "Jail has worked out well and Madhur is confident about its fate at the box-office.So he doesnÂ’t want to restrict the strength of his audience. Hence, he has decided to pixilate the scene. It will appear blurred, so the censors are unlikely to object to it," says MadhurÂ’s friend.Madhur Bhandarkar confirmed the story and said, "Yes, I have pixilated NeilÂ’s nude scene." Wonder if this makes self-regulation a fashionable trend?

No CM-Giri Without Newspaper: PRP News

Posted by SRINU GUNTURU | | Posted On at 10:51 AM

The nexus between the media and politics seems to be the strongest bond for anyone to project themselves. Atleast that seems to be the understanding the crafty film maker Allu Aravind seems to have got after his brief political experience.
It seems that Allu has been looking at coming up with a newspaper soon since he feels that folks like TDP and Congress came into limelight with news Papers’ support and own newspapers respectively. For now, he has got Southern Spice, the film magazine which has been making rounds in the tinsel town, and yet to be launched.
Well, given the current situation that PRP is right now in, Allu Aravind seems to be working on few drastic measures to get the party back in shape. If the newspaper thing is really on the agenda then it remains to be seen how Allu would propagate this one.

‘Ministers more interested in politics’

Posted by SRINU GUNTURU | | Posted On at 10:41 AM

HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam Party has charged the Ministers, the Congress MLAs and K. V. P. Ramachandra Rao, Advisor to the Government with showing more interest in politics than in solving burning issues affecting people.
Addressing a press conference, TDP leaders, Y. Ramakrishnudu and G. Muddukrishnama Naidu said when major sectors of the economy were plunging into crisis, the Ministers were devoting their energies elsewhere. While the Chief Minister, K. Rosaiah was holding a series of review meetings, the Ministers skipped them and preferred to hold political confabulations with Mr. Ramachandra Rao, who they alleged continued to be “extra constitutional authority”.
The Ministers seemed to be least bothered about solving people’s problems and sat over files for days together without clearing them. They were shuttling between Mr. Rao’s residence and the Chief Minister’s camp office, where Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy was staying.
They said they knew there was political crisis in the ruling party and would welcome anyone as Chief Minister but would not tolerate neglect of the people’s problems.
