Commanding the high command, Jagan style

With the Congress leaders at all levels in Andhra Pradesh giving him the larger-than-the-life size image, Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy appears to have adopted a defiant and stubborn posture on the Chief Minister post issue.
He is learnt to have told KVP that gone were the days when the state leaders danced to the tunes of the Congress high command. “The party leadership should learn to respect the sentiments of the people and the workers at the grass root level. A few leaders in Delhi cannot dictate the destiny of the state, but have to go by the democratic principles,” he reportedly told KVP.
Jagan reminded that it was because of his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy that the party had survived in Andhra Pradesh and established a strong government. “It was not because of Sonia or any other leader in Delhi that the party had won the elections twice. YSR single-handedly steered the party to victory. It is a personal victory of YSR, which everybody agrees. Not only that, it was because of YSR that the party could get 33 MP seats, which led to the formation of the UPA government. Sonia cannot ignore this factor and neglect our family,” he pointed out.
So, the real high command is in Hyderabad, not in Delhi. Isn’t it?
