Swiss law do not permit search bank accounts

Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee said the the Indian Government will open talks with the Swiss Government and its banks to unearth black money stashed away there by Indians.
The Swiss authorities have agreed to discuss and begin the negotiations on the amendment of the avoidance of double taxation agreement in respect of the exchange of information.

The Swiss Banks Association had said Swiss law and even OECD’s Model Tax Convention do not permit indiscriminate search through bank accounts in the hope of finding law offenders.
Switzerland had last week reached an agreement with the US to give that country’s Internal Revenue Service details of 4,450 clients who Washington suspected of evading taxes.

Shilpa Shetty set to tie the knot with millionaire.

Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty is reportedly getting married to UK-based millionaire Raj Kundra this winter.

If reports are to be believed, the couple is planning to tie the knot around November.

A confirmation of sorts is already in with Shilpa Shetty's parents having applied to the Surat court to obtain their passports seized in connection to a case of extortion. And the reason given is their daughter Shilpa's marriage in the UK.

They have asked for dates from November 1 to December 31.

As per reliable sources, recently one incident has come to light. It is heard that a noted news reader and a beautiful TV anchor who have been working for a popular channel were said to be involved in a steamy passionate affair. Apparently, they ended up booking a room in a lodge and were having a good time when the concerned authorities got a whiff of it. Though both of them have been caught in the lodge, the matter is said to be in a hush-hush mode since the credibility of the channel would be at stake.

When it comes to dance shows and reality contests, sometimes the element of reality tends to get too sleazy. That seems to be the case with the ongoing dance show ‘Jalsa’. Though it started off very well with decent performances and well executed episodes, lately, the show has been seeing some really embarrassing and sleazy kind of performances from the participants. While it is not sure if there is no regulating board on that or whether the show organizers have been provoking such things but those who have been watching the show closely complain that ‘Jalsa’ has lost its flavor due to such wild and unwanted performances. Let us hope some action is taken on this soon.

with Kajol

However Kajol reportedly refused Aparna’s offer because she is already committed to doing Karan Johar’s movie based on the Hollywood flick Stepmom with Kareena Kapoor, a film that will go on floors later this year, and a part of which will be shot in USA.

While husband Ajay Devgan supports his wife’s decisions to do movies, Kajol herself has a strict schedule for herself. She ideally wants to do one film at a time because her priority in life is her six-year-old daughter Nysa and Kajol will not trade anything in the world for Nysa time.

There are topless pics, allegedly of Rakhi Sawant, on the web, but it looks like the post-swayamvar Rakhi’s not having any of it. In a recent interview, she had expressed her fears, saying, “On the internet, people have morphed my pictures onto naked bodies.

Elesh (who won Rakhi Ka Swayamvar) is broad minded but I don’t know if he’ll be able to deal with all this.”

It looks like Rakhi’s worst fears have come true - these pictures of her, in which she’s wearing almost nothing, are all over the net. Rakhi herself could not be contacted, but her manager did respond. “What are you saying?” asked Rakhi’s manager, Manoj Karnavar. “I’ve been working with Rakhi for the past six years and there have been no such cases. We’ve not done any shoot for this men’s magazine, as the news reports suggest,” he added.

But hasn’t Rakhi herself said that there may be such pictures of her on the net? “Yes, morphed pics are a possibility,” he said.

“Aadhinarayana is an anti-love script, a psychic love story, maybe,” says debutant director Vetrivendan. Confused?

“Well, this will be on the lines of Kadhal Kondein,” he explains, “The hero, Gajan, is an achiever. He studies hard, has received gold medals and awards. But when he looks back at life, he finds it null and empty, devoid of entertainment. He thinks it’s degrading for him and decides to enjoy all the fun and spice he has missed. And in course, he becomes abnormal. The film is all about how his love for the heroine, played by Meera Jasmine, brings him back to normalcy.”

Karunas and Yogitha play the second lead while Srikanth Deva has scored the music for the film. “We had initially titled the film Deiva Magan, but later changed it to Aadhinarayana, after Gajan's screen name. We launched the audio and trailer recently and the film will hit the screens by the second week of September,” says the director.

Suri will be among 948 life-convicts to be released shortly, according to a decision taken by the State Cabinet on Tuesday. After the Supreme Court rejected a writ petition against the release of prisoners, the State government has hastened the process of release of life convicts.

Sources said a few Maoist prisoners, too, would be released along with the others on remission. The list would be sent to Governor for approval, before letting the prisoners free.

Ravikishore earlier film "Ready" was a big hit and collected 7.37 crores in Nizam which was also incidentally distributed by Dil Raju. Saravanan is directing this film. Presently my children are studying in school. In future I will stand by them whatever they wish to do. In Vettaikaaran my son has danced for one minute in a song sequence.
Actors like M R Radha, Shivaji Ganesan and Kamal Haasan have acted in different kind of roles. But you are acting in similar type of roles in all your films. When are you going to don different kind of roles?
The roles done by them are all elderly characters. I am a young actor. Wait for some time. I will act per your wish after some time.
Abdul Kalam had said that youth can make India a capitalistic country by 2020. What should we do for this?
Parents take much pain to educate their children. But they study well and settle in abroad. They get educated in India and work in a foreign country. If they stop going abroad and work in India, India will be a capitalistic country by 2015.
How will your 50th film be?
Vettaikaaran which is to be released soon will be totally different from Tirupaachi, Sivakasi, Ghilli and Pokkiri. In that way my 50th film will also be in a different manner.
What about politics?
I will not say that I will not come into politics. I have the intention. I am not matured enough now. I have to learn a lot of thins about politics before entering it. Politics is a big ocean. I have to prepare myself for that. Hence I will enter politics at the appropriate time.

For this film “Ganga”, Producer Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji) is making his third film Directed by former choreographer Amma Rajasekhar. a Rs 3 Crore set is being specially erected by art director Thota Tharani in a 5 acre plot near Chilukur Balaji Temple on the outskirts of Hyderabad. So recently, she was invited as the celebrity guest for the reality show ‘JALSA’ which is the most sought after program in the Gemini Channel. Sporting a blue sari and with a heavy body she was invited by Siva Reddy, the host who imitated voice of Chiru to ask Roja for dance.
The song happened to be from ‘Mugguru Monagallu’ which had her pairing up with Chiru earlier. Siva Reddy and Roja danced for ‘Chamanthi Puvvaa….’. Apparently, those who saw the episode said that Roja tried shaking her hips but that didn’t seem to work much given her heavy frame now.

Burial of Michael Jackson postponed to his B'day Sep3rd

The burial of legendary pop singer Michael Jackson, which was scheduled on his 51st birthday (August 29), has been postponed to September 3. Ken Sunshine, a representative from the Jackson family, confirmed that the superstar will not be laid to rest until Thursday. Sunshine, however, did not give any reason for the delay. According to Sunshine, Michael will be buried in a private ceremony at Holly Terrace in the great mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California. Only family and close friends will be invited to attend.

Ravi Prakash has been a popular writer. He turned producer with the flick “Mantra”. This flick turned out to be a super hit and made him a popular producer as well. Now he has taken up a new role, that of a director. His directorial venture stars Vinay of “Vaana” fame in the lead. Ravi said that most of the crew of “Mantra” will be part of his new venture as well. The movie was supposed to have gone on floors in June but it has been getting delayed for reasons not known. Chowdary and produced by Mohan Babu under his home banner Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures, is currently progressing at a brisk pace in Ramoji Film City. Saleem is Y.V.S. Chowdary's 50th film. Notably, producer Mohan Babu is the villain and will play a don's role. Camera is by C. Ramprasad; editing is by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao; Chandrabose has penned lyrics for music composed by Sandeep Chowta. The other star cast includes some of the best in the Telugu industry, with the likes of Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bharani, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, Ali, M.S.
