She is known as the most sought after person when it comes to small screen programs and these are more for the serious ones like debates, special interviews, features etc. She is none other than TV9 Swapna and though she is given that label, Swapna has been seen in other channels as well and has played a key role during important phases like elections. Now, there is news that Swapna has been roped in by the Sakshi channel and she is said to be playing a key role in this one.

Many say that this is indeed a good boost to the already growing Sakshi channel and it now remains to be seen who will take the place of Swapna in the other channels and programs that she has worked for.

Real star Srihari is one man who has been known for his fury performances on screen and at the same time for his magnanimous nature. However, he was seen revealing his scornful side recently and the reason for that happens to be the hounding by the TV Channels on him with the news of Shobha Rani’s wedding with Prakashraj.

Apparently, Prakashraj’s wife happens to be the sister of Srihari’s wife Disco Shanti and this news is said to have caused a lot of emotional stress to her. on the other hand, both Prakashraj and his current wife who had filed for separation are now said to be coming back for a patch up and things were just getting fine when this happened. Guess Srihari has a good reason to get irked then.

The wait is over. Hansika Motwani’s finally free from constant speculation over her age.

When she was 16, many said she looked much older and that she was on drugs to accelerate the development of her body.

Others wondered how she perpetually remained 16. As she turns 18 today, Hansika quashes all speculation, saying, “People can say whatever they want. I was born in 1991 and am 18 now. It means being responsible and hard-working. I can drive now and start voting.”

She made her debut at 16 with Aap Kaa Surroor. But somehow she couldn’t shake off the ‘child actor’ tag. “Even when I turn 60, they’ll call me a child actor. But I’m what I am today only because I started out as a child actor. Now, I can do much more than what a child actor does,” she says.

Has she had enough of the ‘bubbly girl-next-door’ roles offered to her, owing to her ‘child actor’ image? “My life starts at 18. I can’t be tired of being bubbly already,” smiles Hansika. (TOI)
