Beautiful South Indian actress Nayantara, currently waiting for the release of K.S. Ravikumar-directed Suriya starrer Aadhavan in Tamil after the release of Anjaneyulu in Telugu, has completed her portions in veteran director Siddique's Malayalam film Bodyguard opposite Dileep.

Nayantara's last scene was shot at Tata Tea’s Munnar golf club where a song was picturised on her and Dileep along with other junior artists in the backdrop of a college excursion. Bodyguard happens to be a fun movie with lots of emotion, fast and action-packed like a thriller and Nayan is said to be pinning her hopes on this one so that it can get her into the success mode.

Now the latest information from filmanagar reveals that Actor Murali Mohan is planning a big budget film in the combination of SS Rajamouli and NTR on Jayabheri arts banner. This banner has made several hit film with high budget like Athadu with Mahesh Babu.

NTR & SS Rajamouli- a good and hit combination-Student No1, Simhadri and Yamadonga- all are big hits at the box office.

But this film is not likely to go on floors immediately-as NTR is busy with his earlier commitments and Rajamouli too busy with his earlier commitments.

NTR is busy with Adhurs and then Brudhavanam- SS Rajamouli has to finish Maryadha Ramanna with Sunil and a film Viswamitrudu for K Raghavendar Rao, before going on to NTR's project.

In an exclusive interview to NDTV's Sonia Singh on the show 'Your Call', Southern superstar Kamal Haasan has ruled out entering politics.

He said," I am political but I am not a politician, I have very strong political views in my films...the only time I will come into politics is when we, the people are very, very angry... when I have to carry a gun..."

He also broke his silence on his earlier marriages to dancer Vani and actress Sarika. He said I "... do silly things to please people I love, like marriage...it was a compromise I made, the price I had to pay for being with the women I love".

When asked why he decided to get married to Sarika, after the birth of his two children, he added "to get a hotel room was difficult", saying she's the mother of my child is not enough... they asked for my MRS, for me it stands for mistress. I think marriage is failing as an institution; the strongest holding institution is family."

He also commented for the first time on why his daughters Shruti and Akshara are not in touch with their mother, Sarika.

He said "It is Sarika's decision not to be in touch with her children and probably theirs. I have an equipoise position. They don't want to be with her, I facilitate that. They're adults, they can vote and take their own decisions."

Bollywood star Salman Khan who is scheduled to go to USA early next month reportedly canceled his visit on Friday.

According to sources Khan decision comes in the wake of the humiliation faced by Sharukh Khan at New Jersey Airport.

Khan is scheduled to partake in a promotional event of his upcoming movie "Wanted" besides participating in an auction of his personal paintings to raise funds for charity.

Khan's decision has put a big question mark before the promoters and also local organisers in cities like Chicago, Houston and Dallas who have invested a lot of effort and money in organizing these events.

Indian cinema has been going through some drastic changes for some time now. One of the changes seems to be the roles of our heroines. From just regular glam dolls, the heroines are turning into action queens. The latest to join the band seems to the voluptuous beauty Namitha. She is playing the role of a cop in “Desadrohi” in which she is expected to be seen a lot slimmer.

According to sources, she is also doing stunts in the movie without any body double. Saying that she is aware of Vijayashanthi’s roles, she added that she will be satisfied if she is able to give at least 10% of her performance.

The actress will have Randeep Hooda wooing her in Pittie Group and Victoria Entertainment’s film Love Khichdi. Speaking about her role in the movie, she says, “I play a South Indian girl who has been living in Mumbai. I play Randeep’s best friend in the movie. Thankfully, it’s not a stereotypical role where I have to put on a fake South Indian accent.”

Considering the fact that there are six other girls sharing screen space in this movie wasn’t Sadaa worried about her role? “I was sceptical when they approached me with the film, but when I heard the role I couldn’t say no. I have never done anything like this before. Plus this role has more meat to it than many lead roles,” she says.

The recent divorce episode of Sonia Agarwal and Selvaraghavan has made headlines in the past few days. Sonia mentions that things didn’t happen all of the sudden and they were waiting to surface sooner than later. She mentioned that things weren’t really good between them due to lack of basic understanding. They had more difference of opinion, and finally had no options other than splitting up.

Indeed, Sonia clearly stated that both of them will remain in touch as friends, and she wishes Selva all the best for a successful endeavor. At present both Sonia and Selvaraghavan are busy concentrating on their respective careers.
