Why is KCR talking now?

The Telangana Rastra Samithi president, K Chandrasekhar Rao, broke his silence after several months. His first statement was on late Chief Minister, Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy and he tried to attribute the devastating floods to the wrong governance of the late leader. KCR was aggressive after the 2004 elections and he continued to be aggressive and even went on challenging the Congress leadership. He pulled out of the UPA at the Center and tied up with the Telugu Desam. He was instrumental in forming an alliance with the TD and Left, which was called the Grand Alliance, which went for the polls against the Congress. Dr Rajasekhar Reddy fought the battle against all odds, even those from the Congress who wanted alliance with the TRS. However, the return of the Congress and the poor show of the TRS had pushed KCR back into underground. The subsequent developments in the TRS wherein Medak MP, Vijayasanthi distanced herself from the TRS and moved close to the Congress also made KCR to hide further. The revolt in the TRS and the defections, fighting at the TRS Bhavan, were all the past and it was felt that KCR and his TRS were out of the political scene. But, the sudden death of Dr Rajasekhar Reddy seems to have given a new life to KCR and his TRS. It is for this reason KCR is trying to move close to the Congress leadership in Delhi, while pointing an accusing finger at Dr Rajasekhar Reddy. His words against Dr Rajasekhar Reddy are seen as his mission to isolate and block the entry of Vijayasanthi into the Congress. It is to be seen how far he would succeed in this and what the Ramulamma would do to protect her political career.
