Actor caught in battle of wives

In a bizarre incident, Uma Maheswari, the first wife of Pillalamarri Seenu, a film actor popularly known as Chitram Seenu, attacked his second wife on the premises of the junior civil judge court in Mahbubnagar here on Thursday.
Seenu and Maheswari married in 2004. Two years later, Seenu married another woman, Manitha, and had a child with her.
Following this, in 2008, Maheswari lodged a case against him citing domestic violence in Mahbubnagar. Since then, Seenu has been attending the hearing there.
On coming to know that Seenu, Manitha and their two-year-old daughter, would be attending court on Thursday, Maheswari also went there.
When Seenu went inside leaving Manitha and the daughter in a car parked in front of the court, a furious Maheswari got into the car and began to beat up Manitha.
Helped by police after much jostling, Seenu returned home with Manitha.
