Balachander back to theatre...

Veteran movie maker K Balachander who is considered a legend throughout India for his movies has now gone back to his roots – theatre. Grapevine is currently abuzz that currently Balachander is directing a play and this has been titled ‘Pournami’ in Tamil. This step is said to have given a new lease of life to the stage artistes and theatre members who are inspired by the move of KB.They say that it is surely like reopening the audience to a culture that was rampant many decades ago. A great effort by a great filmmaker which everyone is hoping that pays off well, also it is heard that KB would be doing a film which will be directed by his protégé Kamal Haasan.
