The YSR mania has been going on a rampage throughout the state and even those Telugus outside Andhra Pradesh and across the world have been doing their bit to pay their mark of respect for the departed leader.
The impact of YSR’s shocking and untimely demise has been so strong that there were deaths that crossed in hundreds out of heart attacks and suicides. Now, the aftermath has been happening as many are taking to different ways and means to show how much they adored this man who was considered a god for the poor.
In a literal sense, temples are now said to be underway to YSR and those who have been part of this project say that poojas, abhishekams and prasadams would be followed religiously just like it is done in any other temple.
On the other hand, a flurry of statues has been ordered and efforts are on to see that almost every important town and city will be filled with statues of YSR. In a way, this will create a record of sorts with the number of statues that have been ordered to be made.
And those who are not into such ambitious things are letting know of their support by sporting tattoos on their forearms, near their chest that contain the picture of YSR. While all this has been one side, the poor and the agricultural folks are said to be coming up with posters and laminated photo frames in their home and they have already begun doing poojas to him and praying for his family’s prosperity and peace.
While the winds have been blowing strongly towards Y S Jagan, son of YSR to be the next Chief Minister, those who have been watching this mass following for YS say that it stands to be ‘nabhooto nabhavishyathi’ in recent history of AP.
