ETV2 Competing With DD And Vissa

The noted person Ramoji Rao has often been known as the media baron of Andhra Pradesh and there are those who also say that he is a king maker. However, those days of glory seem to be over and right now he has been maintaining a low profile without making much noise.
Meanwhile, one of his channels ETV 2 has become the topic of discussion by many. It is technically a News channel but then it has got a rather conventional approach. Those who have seen it say that the programs and features are so mild that they are being compared with Doordarshan and Vissa.
Given the standards and the benchmarks that the Eenadu group has set when it came to the electronic media, it comes as a surprise to see ETV2 being compared like this. Well, it is about time the media baron pulls up his socks and does something about it.
