Rana’s debut film ‘AVM vari Leader’ being produced by AVM and directed by Sekhar Kammula was initially slated to release on October 2nd Gandhi Jayanti has been postponed to Sankranthi. The reason is said to be that the film shoot has been stretching beyond the planned period and that there is still many more days left before it can get into post production. Suresh, Rana’s father who is closely monitoring it wants it come at a time when the market is relatively free and not crowded. He believes January is the time. Let us hope he is right.
Commanding the high command, Jagan style
Posted by SRINU GUNTURU | | Posted On at 10:35 AM
With the Congress leaders at all levels in Andhra Pradesh giving him the larger-than-the-life size image, Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy appears to have adopted a defiant and stubborn posture on the Chief Minister post issue.
He is learnt to have told KVP that gone were the days when the state leaders danced to the tunes of the Congress high command. “The party leadership should learn to respect the sentiments of the people and the workers at the grass root level. A few leaders in Delhi cannot dictate the destiny of the state, but have to go by the democratic principles,” he reportedly told KVP.
Jagan reminded that it was because of his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy that the party had survived in Andhra Pradesh and established a strong government. “It was not because of Sonia or any other leader in Delhi that the party had won the elections twice. YSR single-handedly steered the party to victory. It is a personal victory of YSR, which everybody agrees. Not only that, it was because of YSR that the party could get 33 MP seats, which led to the formation of the UPA government. Sonia cannot ignore this factor and neglect our family,” he pointed out.
So, the real high command is in Hyderabad, not in Delhi. Isn’t it?

Can KVP win battle for Jagan?
Posted by SRINU GUNTURU | | Posted On at 10:34 AM
Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy had fought tough battle for five years to send his friend, K V P Ramachandra Rao to Rajya Sabha. Dr Reddy’s battle against the high command and the leaders from the State was so hard. However, he had won the battle for his friend and made him an MP and introduced him to the Delhi circles. Now the sudden death of Dr Reddy had put new burden on the shoulders of KVP. He is now lobbying with the Delhi circles to get the Chief Minister post for his friend’s son, Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. He is having tough time in pushing forward the candidature of the young MP. His visit to Delhi these days is to lobby with the Delhi circles. But, the big question before him is whether he would be able to win the battle and make Jagan as the Chief Minister or not?If he loses the battle, it is certainly going to be a bad time for him and to the YS family as they would slowly be kept aside. Let us see what this Chanakya will do in the post-YSR era.

KVP, one man army now!

K V P Ramachandra Rao, who is leading a campaign to install Y S Jaganmohan Reddy as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, left for Delhi today to resume discussions with Congress high command on the succession issue.
The Congress high command has, however, indicated that it is in favour of continuing status quo for now with K Rosaiah heading the government.
There is a huge difference between his last trip and this trip. During his last visit, huge number of MPs and MLAs were with him and also he was busy in talking and directing leaders from AP. Now, same hungama is not there and there are only two MPs with him. Anakapalli MP, Pabbam Hari is one of those two MPs.
By understanding the mood of Congress high command, leaders are slowly changing their voice and leaving KVP alone. That's congress politics!
