Prakash Raj to direct a kannada film

National award winner Prakash Raj is remaking his Tamil film “Abhiyum Naanum” in Kannda. He will also take hold of the direction of the film. In Tamil, Radha Mohan had directed the film.
Prakash Raj is also roped in to play a character role in another Kannada film “Dhool” which is a remake of Tamil film “Thiruvilaiyaadal Aarambham” which starred Dhanush and Shriya. In the Kannada version the lead roles are being played by Yogi and Aindrita Ray. Prakash plays the role of the brother of the heroine.
Prakash is also playing a negative role in the film “Manjina Hani” which features Ravichandran.
“When I started writing the role for the new version of Manjina Hani, I only had Prakash Raj in my mind. I could not think of any other actor to do that role,” said Ravichandran who had to wait for Prakash Raj for nearly a month before starting the second schedule of the film.
