YS Jagan sending split signals!

Despite a series of parleys between the Congress high command and supporters of Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy in the last two days, there is no solution in sight to the succession tangle in Andhra Pradesh with both camps refusing to blink.

The party's offer to induct Jagan into the Union Cabinet has not enthused the Kadapa MP even as his supporters are still canvassing for his elevation as CM. Some of his supporters are planning statewide agitation to put pressure on the high command.

There are also rumours that Jagan, who is counting the support of roughly 120 MLAs, may split the Congress, form a regional party and form the government with the support of Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) led by Chiranjeevi and the MIM. The PRP has 18 MLAs and the MIM has eight. Majority mark is 147 in the 294-member House.
