Latest news from Delhi is that All India Congress Committee president Sonia Gandhi is willing to offer a union minister of state post for Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
Delhi sources said Sonia had offered the crucial portfolio of shipping to Jaganmohan Reddy and he was willing, he would be called to Delhi for a chat to finalise the proposal. The offer was conveyed to Jagan through his friend and advisor K V P Ramachandra Rao.
However, it is not known whether Jagan has agreed for the proposal, as he was planning to ask for Deputy Chief Minister post, if not the CM post. “The latest offer seems to be part of the conspiracy by seniors to separate Jagan from the state politics. Under any circumstances, he would not leave the state and go to Delhi,” sources close to Jagan said.

If we consider rumors from filmnagar- Mohanbabu's attack on Chiru is planned one. And the rumor mongers say that Dr Dasari scripted the entire episode. The rumor mongers defend their statement by saying that Mohanbabu doesn't speak a word without getting nod from Dasari.

Rosaiah as the Chief Minister.Mr. Jagan’s supporters continued to meet him at the Chief Minister’s official residence at Begumpet here. They included four Ministers -- Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Danam Nagender, M.Mukesh Goud and V. Sunitha Laxma Reddy – and a dozen MLAs. NTR TDP president Lakshmi Parvathi also called on the Kadapa MP who is scheduled to return to Bangalore on Thursday.Meanwhile, former Minister J.C. Diwakar Reddy is emerging as the rallying point for a ginger group of Congressmen supporting Mr. Rosaiah. At a breakfast meeting he hosted Wednesday morning, former Ministers D.K. Samarasimha Reddy, Palvai Goverdhan Reddy, MLCs K. Indrasain Reddy, K. Yadava Reddy and K. R. Amos, besides former MLC B. Kamalakar Rao and ex-PCC president P. Narsa Reddy were critical of the action of some Ministers in openly opposing the Chief Minister.These Ministers, they reportedly said, were spending time to meet Mr. Jagan instead of reaching out to people affected by the floods. Mr. Diwakar Reddy explained the difficulties Mr. Rosaiah was facing on account of non-cooperation of these Ministers and concurred with the other leaders that the AICC should take serious note of this development.

Mohan Babu reacted sharply to this and advised Chiranjeevi to behave. He even suggested that Chiranjeevi should watch his film Assembly Rowdy to know how an MLA has to work

The film is directed by S J Suryah, a famous director who gave some super hits like \"Khushi\" and \"New\".While newcomer Nikisha Patel plays the heroine, Manoj Bajpai plays an important role and the music for the film is scored by A R Rahman. \"Komaram Puli\" is slated to hit the screens on the 19th of December this year. The Congress incharge for the State and Central Minister, Veerappa Moily, has almost closed the door for the Kadapa MP, Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, to become the Chief Minister. For the first time, Moily spoke on the issue of change of leadership in the State. Though, he has been avoiding direct statement on the issue for all these years, the other day, he cleared the air and said the high command would not succumb to pressures. Moily had been a close associate of late Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy and it was for this reason he remained silent on the issue of making Jagan as the next chief minister. Perhaps, he was initially positive on Jagan. However, things have started taking new turns as some of the senior leaders feeding the high command against anti-YS and anti-Jagan camps. These seniors, who were ignored by Dr Rajasekhar Reddy, seem to have succeeded in changing the high command mind and thus consolidating the position for Chief Minister K Rosaiah. As Moily categorically stated that Rosaiah would continue to be the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader and there would not be any meeting of the CLP, it is for sure that he would continue for the next four years without interruption. This statement also indicates that Jagan would have to remain as MP and the demands to make him the successor to Dr Rajasekhar Reddy would be put in the cold storage. Now that Moily himself had clarified the things, it is to be seen how Jagan�s camp would react and act.

Maverick evangelist K A Paul, who disappeared from the state after the last general elections, reappeared again on Friday.
He said he desperately wanted to help the people of flood affected areas in Kurnool, Mahbubnagar, Krishna and Guntur districts through his Peace Mission, but his hands were tied up because the former Y S Rajasekhara Reddy government had completely paralaysed his organisation.
“Present Chief Minister K Rosaiah is a good friend of mine. I request him to help me revive my Peace Mission. The state government and the Central government should take steps to help the evangelic mission, so that we can serve the people of the flood victims of AP, Karnataka and Maharashtra,” he said.

A hot news is doing rounds in the political circles that the AICC president, Sonia Gandhi, had asked Chief Minister K Rosaiah to erase the image and impressions of late chief minister, Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy.
It is said that Sonia Gandhi is disappointed the way Dr Rajasekhar Reddy had bargained the party tickets during the 2009 elections, where he left no chance for her to choose the candidates. Though his selection proved correct and the party was able to win 33 MP seats, she did not like the way Dr Rajasekhar Reddy handled the issue. She felt that Dr Reddy had grown stronger than the party and wanted to cut him to size as the UPA government settles down. However, things took new turn with the sudden death of Dr Rajasekhar Reddy.
Now, she is firm on totally removing the impressions of Dr Rajasekhar Reddy from the State and the Congress politics and wants the leaders to depend on her leadership. She is preparing ground for Rahul Gandhi to head the party and also become the Prime Minister after the 2014 elections. It is for this reason, she wants no stronger leader in the States, to cause trouble to her son.
She saw a great threat to her son in Dr Rajasekhar Reddy and now visualizes even greater threat to Rahul if Kadapa MP, Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, is made the Chief Minister. Though both YS and Jagan proclaim their loyalties to the Gandhi family, Sonia is worried about strong leaders from the States who might cause some inconvenience to her son.
Keeping this in mind, Sonia had reportedly directed Rosaiah to make changes to the administration and also to the Cabinet. She had even given him free hand to pick his Ministers, but with greater representation to those who were rejected by Dr Rajasekhar Reddy.
It is for this reason, Rosaiah started reorganization of the administration and kept his hands on reshuffling of the Cabinet.

Yesteryear heroine and Samajwadi Party MP, Jayaprada, on Thursday, backed the candidature of AICC general secretary, Rahul Gandhi, for the Prime Minister post.
She told media persons that she was impressed by the way Rahul Gandhi was interacting with the people and learning their problems. She said such leaders would be able to provide better governance and reiterated that she wishes to seen Rahul as the Prime Minister.
When asked whether it was her personal opinion or of her party, Jayaprada did not answer directly but said people should accept any good point. “Whether it is personal or of the party, if the word is good, it should be accepted and welcomed,” the actress-turned politician said.

Now, the launch of South Scope is said to have sent shivers down the spine of the other film magazines. They are worried that as it is the print media has been going through tough times and with the arrival of this one, some of the age old players in South Filmdom will be wiped out. The ambience is IIT campus of Delhi with three ‘bright’ guys who enter the most prestigious institution to found actually they are not that ‘bright’ to be the front liners. So they secure the GPA five points something, which are pretty low. But the narrator Hari, his friends Ryan and Alok try their luck to improve their grade in different ways only to end up every time in a mess.
Of the three, the story is narrated in first person by Hari, who is not that attractive, but smart enough guy to befriend the Head of the Department’s daughter. Ryan Oberoi the handsome dude, though full of creativity, wealth, style and ideas seldom has any romantic liason. Alok is a fatso and glutton and positively irritating.Chetan Bhagat deals with these three friends who were below average guys among the crème of knowledge. It directly as well as indirectly discusses the grim side of the IIT education system, which is lauded by the elite. The disdain of the three protagonists could be the experiences of several students who have some how passed out of several IITs. As expected all ends well with a few more minor twists and turns as anticipated. The romantic angle is provided by Hari’s friendship to Neha, the HOD’s daughter. Neha also belongs to the new era liberated female and does not mind having sex with her boyfriend. Mind that her dad is averse to even talking to boys.Bhagat’s narrative is racy with several punch lines, lucid and simple. We have a lot of ‘fuck’, ‘screw’ and ‘crap’ etc. uttered by the IITian ad nauseam. Even the most serious scenes there are undercurrents of hilarity and sarcasm.The novel closes with an open ending. But one cannot be sure whether the student life is for ‘enjoyment of freedom’ or ‘labor for academics’. Even the oration of Professor Cherian at the convocation on how one should lead a student life turns out to be the dream of Hari. So it could only be a dream! Probably symbolism! It is also a moot point that whether enjoyment in student life is related to smoking pot, drinking vodka or listening to Pink Floyd. ‘Screwing’ is left to Hari only and the other two were virgins till the end!The readers’ vocabulary may be enriched with terms like insti, prof, muggings, fatso, cog etc. exclusive to IITians.The novel stands out because the ambience is unusual, characters are close to genuine and incidents oscillate between real and absurd. Bhagat intelligently takes every engineering student down the memory lane. Situations might not have been the same for every one; nevertheless, like Hari wishes to be Ryan, even for the nine pointers the narrated lives of five point someone would have been a wish unfulfilled.

The Telangana Rastra Samithi president, K Chandrasekhar Rao, broke his silence after several months. KCR was aggressive after the 2004 elections and he continued to be aggressive and even went on challenging the Congress leadership. He pulled out of the UPA at the Center and tied up with the Telugu Desam. He was instrumental in forming an alliance with the TD and Left, which was called the Grand Alliance, which went for the polls against the Congress. Dr Rajasekhar Reddy fought the battle against all odds, even those from the Congress who wanted alliance with the TRS. However, the return of the Congress and the poor show of the TRS had pushed KCR back into underground. The subsequent developments in the TRS wherein Medak MP, Vijayasanthi distanced herself from the TRS and moved close to the Congress also made KCR to hide further. The revolt in the TRS and the defections, fighting at the TRS Bhavan, were all the past and it was felt that KCR and his TRS were out of the political scene. But, the sudden death of Dr Rajasekhar Reddy seems to have given a new life to KCR and his TRS. It is for this reason KCR is trying to move close to the Congress leadership in Delhi, while pointing an accusing finger at Dr Rajasekhar Reddy. His words against Dr Rajasekhar Reddy are seen as his mission to isolate and block the entry of Vijayasanthi into the Congress. The US today announced an assistance of 100,000 dollars for the victims of the recent floods in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.Announcing the aid package, US Ambassador to India Timothy J Roemer said "the heart-breaking personal loss, the destruction of homes and property, and the loss of cattle and crops have been devastating. For this current film produced by Singanamala Ramesh, the fight sequence which usually takes four days went upto 20 days. On the screen this comes to four minutes. His extra-marital affair took away his mind and time from the film.Singanamala Ramesh is being termed as the most immature and inexperienced producer too having landed himself in many legal wrangles. Mahesh Babu is not growing 'young', he needs to think and act fast!

Director-producer Teja has recently floated a separate production house Jayam Movies and decided to flag off several projects. Revenue Minister D Prasada Rao said on Saturday 800 people are missing and over 5 lakh people have been evacuated since massive floods inundated parts of Andhra Pradesh.Though the number of deaths due to the floods is 16, the toll is likely to increase further.About 105 relief camps have been started in the districts of Kurnool, Mahaboobnagar, Krishna, Guntur and Nalgonda to help those affected by the floods, Rao said.Though the water level in the three worst-hit districts of Kurnool, Mahaboobnagar and Krishna has receded slightly, there is a need to stay on alert, he said.Rescue personnel evacuated 1.5 lakh people in Kurnool district, 1.34 lakh people in Mahaboobnagar district, 15,000 people in Krishna district and 5,000 flood victims in Guntur district.
