This is a line from BJP manifesto that probably might have inspired journalist-turned-filmmaker Susi Ganesan to make Mallanna. Almost two years in making, with plenty of money spent, that is visible on screen.But Vikram had earlier spoken to CineGoer.com and said this was not the best film from him. But has the director trimmed the film? The runtime is a marathon running over three hours. The adventure, the frills is not whipping up any thrill.
